Hudson Leick has played a variety of different roles ranging from the evil Callisto on Xena: Warrior Princess to an angel on the CBS series Touched by an Angel. Leick, pronounced like, was born Heidi Hudson Leick in Cincinnati, OH and later moved to Rochester, NY at the age of four. During her last year of high school she relocated to New York City to pursue a modeling career that soon took her to France, Japan and Hong Kong.
Leick enjoyed the excitement of this career but also realized she wanted to act. She moved back to Rochester and enrolled in acting classes at Nazareth College. |

Leick turned heads in the leading roles of plays including Our Town and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Wanting to achieve her personal best in acting as she did in modeling, Leick moved to Manhattan and attended the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. Spelling Entertainment took notice and cast her as a series regular in the Vancouver-based syndicated series University Hospital. After completing the series, Leick took up meditation and set out on a solo trip to Nepal where she trekked 250 miles through the Himalayas.
After six months she left the mountains and went directly to the Cannes Film Festival to promote her first independent feature, After the Game. Hudson then left the East Coast to further her career in features and television. Her credits include roles on Melrose Place, Law and Order, an ABC After School Special and the independent film, Denial. |
